APPLE AND PEAR WITH CINNAMON- Annabel Karmel

MAKES 4 PORTIONS

2 dessert apples
2 ripe pears
4 tbsp unsweetened apple juice or water
generous pinch of ground cinnamon

1. Put the fruit into a saucepan together with the apple juice or water and cinnamon, cover with a lid and cook on a low heat for 6-8 mins until tender.

Blend the fruit to a smooth puree.
