aww thanks girls, only just seen this, how blind am i??!!!!

all is going well apart from i've woken up this morning resembling pammy anderson....ouch!!!!!!!!!

anyone else experienced this though as i'm at a slight loss.....she is taking between 2 and 3 ounces every 3-4 hours but within half an hour of finishing the bottle she then starts rooting for food again or so i think so i try her with a bit more milk but she just screws her face up and doesnt take anymore....anyone else experienced this as last night was torture as it took 2 hours to settle so any help or guidance you can give i would be very grateful!!!! xxxx

awww caz...dylan was like this, but he was breast fed, so slightly different...he would have a really good feed (over an hour), then shortly after start rooting for food again...when i asked the health visitor, she just said to feed him on demand, but it sounds to me like your trying that and she isnt hungry...

i dont quite know if thats helped or not, but thought id tell ya anyways

i had this with jessica, we ended up having to give her a dummy as she didnt have them to begin with as it turned out to be the sucking reflex she was trying to do....i BF to start with though and then switched to bottles so not sure if im any help.
hope she's settling better for you now x

aww thanks girls she seems to have settled now...just an ickle blip for 12 hours...thank god....think it may've been wind so spending a bit more time winding her now!! xxx

we had this with jessica and hv said she was snacking basically and to try and keep her going to next feed as we could as well was wanting a bottle every 1.5 -2 hours so we ended up managing to get her to 3 hour sb4 she ssettled after a few days or so

yep i've got her to 3 hours now just got to try an get her to take whole bottle before falling asleep now...she takes an ounce and then i start winding and she then falls asleep for about half an hour but hey she appears to be a sleeper like her big bro so i cant complain!!! ;-) xxxx
